Print and Mail Operator
OSG is looking for a Print and Mail Operator for our production facility located in Lake Forest, CA. Previous experience with digital print production is helpful, but not a prerequisite. On-the-job training will be provided. Applicants must be willing to learn internal processes and function in a fast-paced production environment. Warehouse setting requires the applicant to be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs.
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all machines in the fulfillment department, including printers, fold/insert machines, and postage meters
- Understand the operations of the printers and be able to run printers at rated speed as required.
- Order supplies and communicate with vendors both onsite and by phone for service requests and help ticket resolution.
- Perform all daily processes related to incoming and outgoing US mail
- Assist with Fulfillment duties, including printing, collating, folding, stuffing, and metering/sealing envelopes
- Performs QC throughout the shift.
- Identifies problems and notifies Shift Supervisor
- Assist with vendor deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned or determined appropriate
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Strong ability to focus and pay high attention to detail.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
- Must be 18 years or older.
